Band Members	Tim Tobias (guitars, vocals, lyrics) and Todd Tobias (various instruments and production) . (Live unit: Tim Tobias, guitar/vocals, Scott Pickering (drums), Brian Noga (bass) and Nick Cross (guitar)
Influences	2 tape decks we learned to multi-track on many years ago and altering the echos from that time. All the sounds from an old Pioneer receiver playing records we were forbidden to listen to (fear of bad influence, and they were right, in all the wrong ways). Everything's that happened along the way until now, and what continues to happen. Keith Richard's tuning, the lyrics of 'The Bewlay Brothers'. Distortion-in all it's forms.

Clouds Forming Crowns was formed in 2004 by Tim Tobias and brother Todd in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Tim is a former member of Guided by Voices and Gem. Todd Tobias, as producer/engineer/ musician currently works with Robert Pollard. Both brothers are also members of Circus Devils with Robert Pollard.
