   About Cloud Temple
"For a true artist, difficulties become opportunities and clouds become solid present." -Alexandro Jodorowsky ............................................................................................................................................................ "There is something about guitars-maybe something magical-when played right which evokes past, mysterious, barely conscious sentiments, both individual and universal. The road to the unconscious past". -John Fahey ............................................................................................................................................................ To order any releases make payments through paypal. The address is johnnydeckermiller@gmail.com. Full lengths are $8, e.p.'s are $4, and tapes are $5. Shipping is included. Shoot me an e-mail if you have any questions. ............................................................................................................................................................ News: 8-6-07: Reviews for Cloud Temple: http://www.psychedelicfolk.com/acidfolkreview19.htmlanchor_623 and my self-titled project: http://www.psychedelicfolk.com/guitar9.htmlanchor_236 from Psyche Van Het Folk. Also, more new tracks on the way! ............................................................................................................................................................ 7-15-07: Great News! I've begun work on the new Cloud Temple album "Elk Reckonings". The material still has a folky feel to it like the previous releases, this time the emphasis is more on the Eastern influences, drones and bursts of guitar noise/psych. There are also hints of Neil Young-esque balladry and a few surprises! I'm excited and proud of the new material and I will keep posting info as it arrives on the release date. ............................................................................................................................................................ 7-2-07: Sorry about the lack of updates! Don't worry Cloud Temple is still active. I've been focusing on some other work as of late. I recently released an album of eastern influenced raga/drone music under my own name, John Miller. The album is available through me and my label, Bickering Bray. It is titled "A Description of the Movement of the Sun: 2 Ragas". Let me know if you have questions or would like to order. Peace~ ............................................................................................................................................................ 4-11-07: New review for "Speaketh" from Evening of Light. Check it out at: http://www.eveningoflight.nl/en/reviews/cloudtem_speak.htm ............................................................................................................................................................ 3-4-07: I've posted the link to a review of "Funeral Dirge" by Evening of Light, a platform for discussion, writing, interviews and reviews of dark experimental music. It is based out of the Netherlands. Here is what the kind folks over there have to say about the album, check it out: http://www.eveningoflight.nl/en/reviews/cloudtem_fdotck.htm ............................................................................................................................................................ 2-18-07:Review: "Cloud Temple’s new release, “Funeral Dirge Ov Thee Crowe King” is a surrealistic, though very earthy journey into the psych-folk realm. The stark balladry is branded with clash and drone, backwoods finger work, bell and echo. Words like, “the sap drips from the tree trunks”, and “silver dew ‘pon the golden brush that the sunshine burns away” add to the effect of being transported dream-like into an altered state. These psychedelic, organic songs, a style which is reminiscent of Stone Breath, are born of much heart. The beautiful art of the digi-pak adds to this great release. -Chelsea “Blackbird” Robb, of Arrowwood. ............................................................................................................................................................ "Funeral Dirge Ov Thee Crowe King" full length album out soon on Little Somebody. Available direct from me or from Little Somebody as well as at both Reckless Records locations in Chicago. ............................................................................................................................................................ "Speaketh in the Tongue of the Forest" full length album 2 x 3" CD out soon on Bickering Bray. Available direct from me as well as at both Reckless Records locations in Chicago. ............................................................................................................................................................

"The energy of everything flows like the great rivers of the earth, naturally rolling and splashing, slipping and spiraling through the paths of least resistance toward the swelling, dreaming sea. Our life began in the waters of our mother's living womb. Grandmother Moon pulls and releases the ocean tides and the water in our bodies allowing energy and intuition to flow freely through our feelings and our spirits. Water has memory and is alive, responding to our emotions and healing old sorrows, teaching us playfully to release and renew. Water evaporates from the sea and transpires from trees to return as cleansing, life giving rain. All life needs clean water to survive. The spirit and sacredness of water is honored by all people who respect life. Swimming or floating in pools and lakes, streams and rivers our bodies and bright spirits receive the wisdom of water, honoring our emotions, remembering the love and mysteries of our source, embraced in wholeness and serenity."

~ Lichen June, "Wild Magic."

May water bless you with wholeness and serenity.

Thank you for the add!
