About Clowndog

Clowndog were a New Zealand indie-punk band that formed in 1997 and broke up in 2003. The bands first gig was played on the back of truck outside the Recreation Centre in Motueka and their official last show was opening for Trans Am at the Phat Club in Nelson. Over that time the band released 5 EP's, numerous outtakes, appeared on various compilations and gained a reputation as an entertaining and somewhat bizzare live act; often including the thowing of sausages into the audience.

This sad MySpace page is here to relive the Clowndog story before it becomes to hazy to recount. Call it a last attempt to relive the glory days of our youth before we enter early-middle age or even some kind of quarter life crisis.
