Cindy contributed lyrics to her son's debut CD “I AM Found” which was released in January 2007. Various co-written songs from the album have been featured here. Aaron's CD~ a melodic and passionate collection~ has drawn attention from some very established musicians and singers across the globe...Since the CD, Aaron and Cindy have co-written a new song called "Going Home" which is about Australia.

Eddie Leighton is a highly accomplished and respected guitarist and composer from Detroit, Michigan, and Cindy's cousin. They both come from a long line of gifted musicians and writers from the very same talented Leighton family. For the first time, Cindy and Eddie came together to collaborate on five songs featured on the
Leighton band CD "Beyond the Door" 2008. Since then, Cindy & Eddie created more new songs to be featured on upcoming collections.
Eddie has composed hundreds of songs over the years~ some of which have gained substantial recognition. He took first place in the 1983 Miller Highlife Rock to Riches contest, beating over 35,000 entries nation wide. He also took first place in WRIF radio's, "Motor City Best Rock Guitarist" contest in 1993.
Eddie got together with the new band "Leighton" in Nov. 2007 to work on their new CD "Beyond the Door" now released and available on iTunes and CD Baby. Members of "Leighton" are: Dino Johnson-Lead Vocals (The Ride), Rick Vuk-Bass guitar (The Look), John Fain-Keyboards,(Artist), Joe Fava, Pecussion,(The Missiles),and Eddie Leighton-guitarist.

“Inside My Heart” features lyrics by Cindy L Spear (previously known as Spear-Polley) and music by Iona. This very popular song was first featured on Iona's studio album “Journey Into The Morn” CD in 1995. (“Journey Into The Morn” song is also another song lyric of Cindy's. noted above in Songs for Luca 2). “Inside My Heart” has been a favourite with many and has been released to date twice on CD and featured on Iona's “Live In London DVD”. In 2009, Journey Into The Morn CD was re-released on "Open Sky" Iona's own label.
