Departure Lounge is a club based in Edinburgh, established in 2003, dedicated to bringing vibes from the global musical tribes to our diverse and friendly dancefloor.

Every 2 months we take over Edinburgh's finest venue, The Caves, and take our guests on an exploration of the musical universe. We feature live bands, guest DJs, percussionists and dancers alongside our resident team of Astroboy, Jimenez, Mr Zimbabwe (currently on holiday) and Cammy. We like to mix things up, and if you come down the one of our nights, you can hear jazz, afrobeat, Brazilian, soul, drum'n'bass, funk, broken beat, latin, and everything in between.
