Club Fabrikken; a new home for diverse and forward thinking electronics in Scotland's Capital City.
Hosted by Hektor Ruiez (Stick 430 / Irdium) and Steve Glencross (Sativae).
The opening night plays host to one of the most influential players in the UK scene, Martin
Mackay from RubADub Records. Expect an evening of intelligent electronics from the man with access to more good music than... well just about anybody.
We've got some exiting guests lined up for the next few gigs, showcasing some of the best
Dubstep, Minimal, Techno and Broken Beat talent out there; with most making their Edinburgh debuts. Were keeping entry cheap, making it affordable to all; looking for followers of quality electronics
in the Capital to come down and show their support, in a city that has been lacking in the serious
electronics dept for some time now.
The next date is Friday 22nd August, the last week of Edinburgh's Festival Season...
Fabrikken are proud to present an Edinburgh exclusive from one of the hottest names in Dubstep, Dave Huismans aka 2562 (Tectonic, Ramp, Hotflush). 2562 is one of the rising stars of Techno-Dubfusion including Pole, T++, Shackleton, Appleblim and Peverelist coming out of London, Bristol, Amsterdam and Berlin. His debut album Aerial has just been released on Tectonic, dubbed as one of the freshest pieces of dancefloor electronics to be released this year. 2562 is breaking new ground in Dubstep, much in the same way as innovators Kode9 and Pinch. Expect Berliner Techno, Dubstep & Minimal.
Friday August 22nd (Festival Special)
