Hakkımda: Function is a soul, funk & disco club at the legendary venue Jeriko in the lovely town Malmoe in South Sweden. What the club's basically about is love for incredibly brilliant rare black music from the 60's and onwards...and unrestrained dancing and partying of course! Residents are the dj's and record collectors Helena Stromdahl, Jonas "Jonte" Lindell, Jonas "Joppe" Odhner and Sebastian "Bastiano" Fonzéus. We run Function one Saturday a month and the venue's got two rooms. The main room is dedicated to northern, crossover and early modern soul, plus all sorts of great funk. The smaller room (C/O-Bar) is devoted to modern soul from the late 70's and onwards, underground disco plus soulful house. Everything we play, except some soulful house tunes from Joppe, is on shiny original vinyl.
