Once upon a time there was a disco. An indie disco. It was at the Soul Tree in Cambridge, every Wednesday night. It started at 9pm and people would dance the night away till 3am. Usually the lovely bands would finish playing at 11pm. Then the DJ's would take over. They would play indie/electro/rocknroll/and anything else till everyones feet got tired at 2am. Everyone would drink the cheap drinks. Everyone drank. Everyone danced. Everyone was happy
Then one day Goo got tired of late nights on Wednesdays. The Junction kindly offered to take Goo under it's all encompassing wing and thus proffered the second Friday of every month til March and then the third friday from April for Goo to provided music based merriment. The world smiled.
Club Goo has played host to these bands:
>Arctic Monkeys
>Black Wire
>Yeti
>The Chalets
>The Kooks
>The Young Knives
>Milburn
>Tily And The Wall
>Razorlight
>Boy Kill Boy
>iForward Russia!
>The Rumble Strips
First Friday of every month
