About Dj Dru

Nov.14th 1989, A creative,open minded dj/producer was brought into this world. The Latin/African American baby boy born in Jersey City Nj, but now he has found his home in BANDIT CITY

Club music is his life. Anyone who knows him well since childhood, knows his life was all about music. When Dru was in the 3rd grade he received his first suspension over music. A fellow classmate brought a club cd in and 10 minutes later it was stolen. "It was my first time hearing club..i loved it!!" Who would ever think that he would be here at the age of 19 on the same Record Label with the producer of that cd? CRAZY! Starting out as a rapper, Dj Dru slowly began to get the feel of making club with fellow artists Dj Haze,Dj Twinz and Dj Jay. By the year of 2005, Dru was officially brought to Brick Bandits where he fell right into the family.

A unique style which is NEVER predicted has been they key to his success. Dropping a well known track, the Wu-Tang song became a quick hit pushing him to keep going at it. Dj Dru currently has many different spots on Imeem,Google,Ares,Limewire, and Club Cds. Many Influences such as Dj Tameil,Dj Tim Dolla,Mike V,Dirty South Joe, Dj Sega,Rod Lee,Blaqstarr,K Swift and Spinbad has kept this 19 year old fully focused and more interested in music as the days go by. Most important: The full support from his parents has also helped him in many ways.

Currently working with fellow Brick Bandit members Dj Spaz,Dj Jay Hood, and rapper Bleszt, Dj Dru has many plans coming up in the year of 2009.

Words of Advice: " Place God before ANY AND EVERYTHING you do..Christ is my Saviour..Music is my second saviour. Take life by each day it brings you, accomplish as much as you can..Failure? Failure is NEVER in my vocabulary. ALWAYS believe in yourself, if you dont then who would? Producing? IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT YOU USE..its HOW YOU USE IT! "
