Club Popaganda is UCL's answer to generic indie nights. A DIY enterprise by students for students bringing you the best of up-and-coming and establshed bands, national and international, playing together in diverse line-ups and an all inclusive all encompassing party atmosphere! This is a place where different scenes meet and come together, drinks are drunk, kisses are blown, hugs are free and dancing is done. Balloons, sweets, board games and projections make up the rest, and don't be surprised to see djs from your best indie clubs or record labels playing super tunes, all for your earthly pleasures!
A club night in the heart of central london, UCL UNION. It's run by a comitted group of music lovers, enthusiasts and downright nerds! DJs play after and in between the bands until 2am. Popaganda launched on the 25th September 2007, with the fantastic Brakes , supported by the superb Sunny day sets Fire .
Following the storming success of our first night of the year, we bring you once again more quality bands and djs! check the blog and flyers for more info!
Popaganda happens at the newly refurbished and recently pimped up UCL UNION, on the second floor, every other TUESDAY. (Gordon Street - Euston Square/Euston/Warren Street tubes.) starting September 25th.
Tickets are also student budget cheap, with union drink prices of £1.60 a pint and other deals. You can also buy tickets on the door. --- We'll see you at the front. xx
