Imagine dois jovens que em sua adolescência, quando davam seus primeiros passos na discotecagem e na própria música eletrônica em si, foram arrebatados pelo movimento French Touch, surgido em meados da década de 90 nos ghettos parisienses, e que foi responsável por colocar no mapa da musica mundial, artistas como Daft Punk, Cassius, Air, Dmitri From Paris, Bob Sinclair, entre outros.
Agora imagine que dez anos mais tarde, eles se conhecessem e resolvessem formar uma dupla, e em suas apresentações, desfilassem os grandes clássicos daquela época, assim como as novidades do french house, french electro e suas ramificações atuais, como o maximal do Justice e do pessoal da Ed Banger Rec., o som do coletivo Valerie, yuksek, louis la roche, disco t.e.x.a.s, kitsuné, etc...
Pois é, foi com essa intenção que os residentes da festa paulistana Bang! DJs Marcos Efe e Nando Feitosa resolveram criar o duo Club Soda, onde o próprio nome já é um referência a uma track clássica de Thomas Bangalter (papa do French Touch e metade do Daft Punk) lançada pelo seu selo lendário: roulé.
Já discotecaram em casas como: Vegas, D-Edge, Glória, Drops, Audio Delicatessen, Kitsch Club.
(imagine two youngster wich in their teen ages, when gave your first steps on djing and in the electronic music, are catched by the french touch movement, emerged in the mid-90's in the parisian ghettos, and who was responsible for puting on the map some artists such as daft punk, cassius, air, dmitri from paris, bob sinclair, and others.
now imagine that ten years later, they meet each other and decide to make a duo, and in their gigs, played the best french touch's songs ever as well as the new french house and french electro tracks, such as justice, yuksek, valerie, ed banger records, kitsune, disco t.e.x.a.s., louis la roche...
so, it was the intention that residents of the bang! party, djs marcos efe and nando feitosa, decided to create club soda. even the duo name is a reference to a classic track (on the rocks) by thomas bangalter (french touch's pope and half of daft punk) released for his legendary label roulé.
