Oscar Hammerstein once said, "All the sounds of the earth are like music." I love music and always have, it has always been a major part of my life. For as long as I can remember, I have always had one song or another in my head. Music defines my day and my attitude.
I particularily enjoy listening to Country Music, Oldies, some Easy Rock. I also particularily enjoy listening to choral renditions of classic hymns as well as listening to orchestras - particularily come 4th of July.
Whether your song is a song of joy or lament, God wants to hear it. Luther once wrote, "To sing with the Spirit is to sing with spiritual devotion and emotion."
One final quote I'd like to leave you with, "May you be guided by the light of your dreams and the music in your heart" (sourse unknown).

I was born and raised in the Santa Ynez Valley (a half hour north of Santa Barbara, CA.). I have great appreciation for my Danish, German, and Swiss heritage and traditions.
I love playing baseball/softball, tennis, golf, as well as downhill skiing - my ultimate adventure would be taking a helopter to the top of a random mountain and taking the day to ski down it. I also enjoy singing (especially in choirs) going to choir and band concerts, and playing a little guitar.
