| General | I like coding/hacking, messing around with phones (phreaking), working with computers (hell, I do it for a living), doodling, hanging out with my friends, watching movies, listening to music. Lots of stuff. | | Music | To be completely honest, I like almost anything. My library consists of everything from Meat Loaf to Mike Oldfield to Within Temptation to Red Hot Chilli Peppers to Cascada to Bowling for Soup. If you pick *almost* any genre of music, I'm sure I'll come up with *at least* one song in that category I like. Literally, everything. Techno/trance, remixes, pop, rock, metal, country, rap, dance, classical, "new age", you name it. | | Movies | Hackers, Operation Takedown, Antitrust, Stargate, Latter Days, American Wedding, Ocean's Eleven, The Transporter. I like most comedies, sci-fi movies, anime movies, fantasy, some action movies, some so-called "chick flicks". Anything that either appeals to the geek in me, the gay in me, or makes me laugh, really. | | Television | Stargate SG-1, StarTrek DS9, The Simpson's, Family Guy, Whose Line is it Anyway?, Futurama, Dead Like Me mostly. I can't see them in the US as easily as the UK, but I also like Blackadder, Father Ted, and the Vicar of Dibley. See movies for broader categories ;) | | Books | Far too many to go into detail. Really anything sci-fi, maybe a manga, or a fantasy. Informational computer books are also good, as are non-informational ones :P | | Heroes | Quite a few, yet no one specifically. About me:
I'm a bit of a geek. I like computers, phones, anime, sci-fi, D&D, and all sorts of geeky stuff. One of the most important things to me is my friends. When I'm with other people, I like watching movies or playing video games, and eating. I live in New Jersey, and have only otherwise lived in Portsmouth, England briefly, and would like to live there again someday. Who I'd like to meet:
In terms of friendship, I'm a geek, it's logical for me to want to hang out with geeks. That's not a limit or a rule, but a good starting point. I'm willing to talk to anyone though, so there's no harm in saying hi. In terms of something more, I'm looking for an actual relationship, not a fling, one-night stand, or hookup, etc. If that's what you're looking for, you're looking in the wrong place.
