El Comite de Mujeres Patricia Marin meets once a month, the 2nd Sunday of every month and is open to all women of all ages and backgrounds.
TIME: 3PM
LOCATION: CENTRO CULTURAL PANCHO VILLA
2100 MAPLE AVENUE
LOS ANGELES, CA 90011

WHO WE ARE:
The Comite de Mujeres Patricia Marin (CMPM) is a project of Union del Barrio that started over 10 years ago in San Diego, CA and has been in L.A. for over a year now. We are a group of active and progressive women committed to the struggle for self-determination of our people. As activists, we come together each month in order to develop our political education and participation as revolutionary women.
We learn about our Indigenous Roots, roles and contributions within HERstory and HIStory across Latin America. We address different social injustice issues affecting our communities today and organize our communities from a women of color perspective.
