I DECIDED TO CREATE THIS SITE AFTER I VIEWED A SIMILAR ONE DEDICATED TO A SHOW IN DOLLYWOOD.
I KNEW I HAD HUNDREDS OF PICTURES AND ENOUGH KNOWLEDGE OF THE SHOW THAT I BEGAN BUILDING THE SITE. I FIRST STARTED GOING IN 1991, AND I WOULD VIDEO THE SHOWS TO WATCH DURING THE LONG WINTER UNTIL THE PARK OPENED AGAIN THE FOLLOWING SPRING.
EACH YEAR THE SHOWS GOT BETTER AND THE TALENT WAS ALWAYS THE BEST EACH YEAR. THE BAND WAS AMAZING. IF I HAD A NICKEL FOR EVERY TIME "PAPPY" PLAYED THE ORANGE BLOSSOM SPECIAL, WELL I WOULD RETIRE TODAY!
WE BECAME FRIENDS WITH SEVERAL OF THE CAST MEMBERS OVER THE YEARS HAVE REMAINED IN CONTACT WITH A LOT OF THEM. ONE LITTLE GIRL IN PARTICULAR THAT HAS MARRIED AND LIVES IN KANSAS CITY MO. WITH HER HUSBAND AND 2 SONS. WE MISS YOU KRYSTAL!

COUNTRY MUSIC USA, I FELT IT WAS ONLY PROPER TO CREATE THIS SPACE FOR THEM TO RE-CONNECT IF THEY SO CHOOSE.
BEING A FREQUENT FAN OF THIS WONDERFUL SHOW, WE WERE TREATED TO THE BEST TALENT THAT OPRYLAND HAD TO OFFER. SO MANY OF THESE CAST MEMBERS ARE STILL PERFORMING, AND SO MANY HAVE GONE ON TO THE PRIVATE LIFE, THIS WAS THE BEST MEANS OF TRYING TO GET THEM ALL TOGETHER AGAIN TO REFLECT BACK ON THE BEGINNING YEARS OF THEIR CAREER.
THIS WILL TAKE TIME AS WORD OF MOUTH IS THE BEST MARKETING I CAN DO IN TRYING TO RE-LOCATE THE COUNTRY MUSIC USA FAMILY.

Thanks for sharing! I really miss all the fun at Opryland. I'm now married to another former Country Music USA "alumni", Mario Morin (CMUSA '92). We've been together for 12 years now, married for 9. WOW! What wonderful "MEMORIES!" COUNTRY MUSIC USA was one of the best times ever. It brought so many special people to my life! I'm proud to say that I was part of the last cast in 1997. Thank you RKS for creating this page and I hope that it brings us all back together.
