lots more on our website www.cnprecords.com We started in 1992 as CHAOTIC NOISE PRODUCTIONS, a cassette only label...our first releases were the 1st RECTAL PUS and SUPPRESSION demos. We then spent the next 5 years releasing tapes by SONIC DISORDER, MEAT SHOP, AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED, BLACK LEATHER JESUS, THE EARWIGS, 2 HOUSTONOISE compilations, BUILDING OF GEL, RICHARD RAMIREZ, etc., etc., many compilation tapes, and of course more RECTAL PUS and SUPPRESSION tapes. We also released a RECTAL PUS 7 inch and did 3 issues of CHAOTIC NOISE zine (packed w/ interviews and reviews of weird HC, grind, noise bands, and fringe-element musicians and zines) during those years. In 1998 we changed the name of the label to C.N.P. Records w/ the CD release of "AUDIO TERRORISM: The Soundtrack For Weirdness and Blind Hostility" compilation, co-released w/ SATAN'S PIMP and HEARTPLUG. The compilation featured 99 bands and 99 songs by such bands as MEN'S RECOVERY PROJECT, SPAZZ, LOCUST, MERZBOW, RUPTURE, AMPS FOR CHRIST, BASTARD NOISE, SOCKEYE, BLACK MAYONNAISE, 7MON, and of course many more. There are actually plans of a repress split release between C.N.P. and GONZO VIOLENCE (formerly Heartplug.) We've since released CDs and 7 inches by SUPPRESSION, AMOEBA MEN, ATOMATRON, KOJAK, HALLELUJAH!, TICKLEY FEATHER, BERMUDA TRIANGLES, SILVER NINJAS, LA MERE VIPERE, The SKIN, HO-AX tape, BUNNY RABBITS, D.J. RENALDO, PARTYMAN, THE YES SIRS, JOHN SWART, and numerous compilations...the newest being the "KILLER WORKOUT MIX" compilation CD. So far our only LP release is the red-vinyl/ screened cover YES SIRS "Dod Locos" LP. But that's about to change w/ the next 3 C.N.P. releases being the AMOEBA MEN "Worried About Your Wiring?" LP, the SUPPRESSION "Alliance Of Concerned Men" LP, and the BERMUDA TRIANGLES "Terror In The Tropics" LP. All three will contain a free CD or CD-R.
