Christ On A Bike (aka C O A B) started in March 2004, as a jokey pretend band formed with four non-existent members but with a wealth of material made using Acid Pro and additional instruments and found sounds over several years.
The joke became serious when after releasing a 20-strong 1st LP, "Heaven's Cycle" they were being told the songs were strong enough to form a "real" band! The seed was sown.
Going under the names of Chris Sakes and Holly Ghast, the band ditched the other "members" and became a real electronica act, who's influences ranged from house and jazz, through commerical pop, club and dance music into punk and reggae.
Their next LP (Oct 2004) was a 12 strong album of grooves and melodies entitled "Me, You & Jesus 2" carrying on the "christ" motif. However, the songs had much better production and even harvested four singles of superb quality.
The band released their 3rd LP in just 18 months, "The Beat Conductor" in 2005 and were reviewed by NME and the Italian press, even courted by Parlaphone Records at one time. Their 4th LP "A Geminus Vita" was released October 2006 spawning four mammoth singles of pure electro pop and grooves and was generally seen as their most commercial LP so far. You can still buy it at www.christonabike.net .
In 2007 they released their twin LPs of instrumental melodies and left field wackiness in "Child's Play" and "Adult Games", which can still be bought for just £5.00 from http://www.christonabike.net/Shopping.htm
In 2008, COAB return with an awesome collection of retro-electro pop in "Download The World". Following this in 2009, the band released their 8th LP a remix of the DTW LP by artists from around the World including Axisgallery (Europe), Kester (Australia), Dizasteroid (Ireland) and Asensory (USA).
This, LP is destined to be their brightest and poppiest star attraction so far! This is a band that will make you dance, religiously!!!!!

Check it out! I wrote a free book on music production! It's for total beginners, but maybe you'll learn something... at least you can send it to your friends who always want to ask you a billion questions about music production! It's totally free too; my goal with this is to accumulate as many BFF's as possible :P
Hello my friends. I am glad to know you are doing well. I have been thinking about you all lately.
I would absolutely love to remix another song for COAB. I had a great deal of fun the first time around and am sure I will have just as much fun, if not more, this time around.
I will check out the songs that you mentioned in your post. I am sure I will not be disappointed as I never am.
I am happy you all took a break. Two albums in 5 months is major! But time to get back to recording - eh? :-)
And, Yes DiZasteroid remixed one of my songs and I loved it. He worked on Beautiful Flower - it is posted on his broadjam.com site.
I am happy for all of the great connections. Perhaps one day I can shake your hands in person and have a cocktail.
