A little about my coaching background.
I grew up in Memphis, TN. I started playing football in pop warner at the age of 7. I started as a linebacker, and definsive line. I played from 7 till 18. I played high school football for Hillcrest High in Memphis. Went to 2 state championships back-to-back. Won one and lost one. Had an oppurtunity to play college football at Memphis State. Played spring, got hurt and then wasnt able to play after that. Moved to Florida in 1988. Started coaching Pop Warner football in 1995, where I coached my son's team. I won 3 division titles. Started coaching at MCYFL in 2000. Was the runner up in one Superbowl. Started coaching high school for Vanguard High School from 2003-2005, where i was a definsive coordinator and linebacker coach. Then in 2005 i went to St.John Lutheran High School where i coached from 2005-2006 as Definsive/Linebacker/Definsive Line Coach. Helped to take the team to the playoffs after 30 years, and had a winning season after 10 years. I retired in 2006 in coaching high school football. I am now dedicated to helping young men that play lineback and definsive line to make that next step.Either to high school football or college football.
This is my son Tony
Who I'd like to meet:
There are alot of camps out there that deal only with QB's,RB's,Recievers, and not too many coaches that care enough to help young men to get to high school and/or college as a linebacker or definsive line player.
I charge $25 for an hour and a half.
To qualify to be in the camp:
1.You have to want to get to the next level.
2.You have to be able to work hard at all times becuase when your sitting on the couch theres always someone working harder than you.
3.You and your parents have to be committed to this program. Its not a 1 class program. It takes several lessons to reach your goal, so you have to be committed to the proccess.
If you do everything that is asked in the lessons. I promise you will be able to reach your goal to be a better player, no matter if you play youth football/high school footbal/college football.
My goal is to help young linebackers/definsive linemen to learn how to get to be a position player as a high school player. Also to help guide you and your parents to make that next step from high school to college.
The only thing i ask is that the player and parents be committed to the proccess of taking the next step.
