HI EVERYONE!
This page is a place for Coastline Community College students (past and present), and students at our sister colleges Orange Coast College and Golden West College, to connect, network, chat...whatever!
For those of you who know little about Coastline, here's the deal:
Unlike most colleges, Coastline does not have a traditional campus. Instead, instruction is offered at various sites throughout the Coast Community College District (like senior centers, high schools, etc).
In addition to these neighborhood campuses, the College has main learning centers based in Costa Mesa, Garden Grove and Westminster, with an administration building (offering enrollment services, counseling, a bookstore, and more) in Fountain Valley.
Students come to Coastline to fulfill their GE transfer requirements, or for career and technical training to advance their careers. In addition, Coastline also offers a huge English as a Second Language (ESL) program, an emeritus program (with many FREE classes for students age 55 and older), and a unique Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) program.
Coastline is known as one of the nation’s most innovative institutions, and our Distance Learning program kicks butt. More than 50% of our students take at least one class via Distance Learning, either over the internet, by CD-ROM, via telecourses, or independent study. We've even got course content for you hand-held PDA and cell phone!
SPECIAL SHOUT-OUT to all of our students serving in the U.S. Military (we've got over 10,000 of them!)-- as they pursue their education at Coastline through distance learning from around the world!
Who I'd like to meet: Current students, past students, prospective students, faculty, staff, and community members associated with Coastline Community College.
Coastline Community College's Friend Space (Randomized)
Well hello, things are going really well here. Thanks for the friend request. I'm currently taking English Comp. 102, Biology and the corresponding Bio Lab. I'm in the military spouses program. I have really enjoyed the classes I've taken (six so far). I'm majoring in Human Services and will probably be transferring to a four year school in the spring. How are things in California?
Hey thanks, the semester is going well so far. I love these online courses. Being an ARMY wife makes it hard at times to attend classes on campus so it helps.
Does CCC have any Honor Societies we can join??? Also how can an online student/distance learner participate in activities with the college? Student council etc.
You are invited to this evening's voter registration event in the City of Garden Grove!
Yaba Java 12908 Main Street, Garden Grove

With our city's official motto being "The City of Youth and Ambition," this evening's highlight will shine on young people. We intend to register first-time voters, connect with each other and share our concerns, and engage in the political process with clarity in vision. Come learn about upcoming ballot measures that directly affect the lives of young people, such as yourself. So, please come and bring friends and family! If you are already registered to vote, bring someone you know that has yet to register, come to help out, come to meet your neighbors, come to update your voter registration!
Our featured guests presenter for this evening will be:
