MySpace a place for friends

Right, I've left this bit blank for too long, so now I'm going to have a go at doing the impossible job of trying to sum myself up on a web page without sounding like I'm up my own arse or whittling on.

So, I'll start with the basics, I'm Laura Jayne Lee, my mother recently apologised for giving me such a name, and used the excuse that she had just been through two hours of labour, pah! That's no excuse. Anyway if one day I do get fed up with people shouting Laura Leeeeeeeeeeee across the road to get my attention I may change my name, so any suggestions are welcome.

I'm 20, and I'm in my third year at Sheffield University, doing Management, which is semi interesting I suppose. I do however love the university experience as a whole. I've done more in this past year and a half than ever before.

I think thats pretty much all the usual stuff over with but I've decided its fun to talk about myself so a few more tit bits of information are coming your way.

I love to travel, I love dreaming of going travelling. I've been planning my Round the World trip since I was 15. If there was one place I could go to in the world it would be Asia, and I can't really narrow it down much further than that, possibly South East Asia, but then that'd miss out Japan! Anyway, I'm currently a jobless student so that will have to remain a dream! However, I am going to Prague in February, which is tres exciting, one more place to tick off my list!

I'm very much a girl, not just in the hopefully obvious anatomical sense, I love makeup and skirts and pretty sparkly things, I think I was a magpie in my previous life. The most action hero style thing I've done is climbing a 7ft fence in a skirt and pumps after getting locked in the bins, I still remain proud of that to this day, and slightly embarrassed due to flashing my knickers at random old people.

I like sets, and I hate it when things are incomplete, I have quite an obsessive personality, don't mistake that for me jumping on the 'I have OCD' bandwagon, everyone on myspace claims to have OCD nowadays. I just like sets, whether its a boxset, or a set of books, or every song by a favourite artist, or every colour of eyeliner in a makeup collection.

I'm a music, film and TV person. Usually people are one of the three, I'm passionate about all of them, I guess I just don't like being out of the loop on anything, and I need constant noise. I don't even have particular genres I dislike, although I do love plinky plonky music, zombie films and tv series involving impending doom.

I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I'm actually proud to admit I've seen every episode twice and owned all the watchers guides, if that makes me a loser then I'm proud to be one!

Now I'm sure you think I'm a bit weird but if you've met me you'd know that anyway. I'm very loud, I like to call it colourful. In freshers week someone I'd just met told me I'd make a good Big Brother contestant, I'm still not sure whether to take that as a compliment or not. I'm the organiser of my 'gang' I may moan that its a hassle but I love it really, I just like being in control and bossing people around

Right I'm ready to conclude my little 'me' essay, which was a lot easier to write than the one I'm currently putting off. It's on Sexual Orientation Discrimination, which I do find interesting, its just when you have to write 3,500 words about it its a bit daunting. Oh well, to finish off with I think I'm a genuinely nice person, but I could be kidding myself.

Sorry I lied, I'm not finished, I just read all this back and I've forgotten to put I love books, it really annoys me when people think its cool to say they don't read, IT ISN'T!!

People who've travelled, I can sit for hours and listen to peoples stories about where they've been, pictures are good too =p.

People who want to recommend new books or artists to me, or films I haven't seen, I'm up for broadening my horizons
