| About Coconet Classic - On hold for a while |

The Coconet Classic is a unique annual 5 day festival incorporating music and extreme sports events.
Held from 8th - 12th of April (Easter) in the Central QLD twin towns of Boyne Island / Tannum Sands, the event showcases some of Australia's best musical talent, artists, markets, cultural performers and Athletes.
Kicking off at the Millennium Esplanade, (Tannum Sands main Beach) the Coconet Classic hosts Australia's largest Kitesurfing Competition bringing over 100 Kiters and thousands of spectators to the area.
There is also markets, food stalls and entertainment provided along the esplanade and best of all its FREE for spectators
The action then moves over to the Boyne Island skate park on Friday and Saturday for the skate, BMX and one of the only scooter competitions in Australia. Entry again is FREE for spectators and there will be food stalls, markets and music all at the event.
The whole Festival culminates on Sunday April 12th at Dennis Park, Boyne Island for the biggest outdoor music festival held in central Qld. Running from 10am to midnight there is 2 stages of bands, Crave Room, bar facilities, cultural displays, markets, side shows, street theater and an international food fair.
