About me: We are a community service and social "fan" club of Howard Livingston and Mile Marker 24. Our club was founded in May, 2007 by five friends who wanted to make a difference in our community and who also love all things "tropical", especially the music of Mile Marker 24!

I was asked to write a song about a WW 2 troop transport ship called the Vandenberg. Plans were being made to sink the ship just off Key West where she would become an artificial reef. As I researched this 500-foot piece of history, I realized how brave those folks were who stood on her deck heading off to the unknown. Our troops today are doing the same exact thing. As of this writing the ship has not been sunk, but a lot of folks are working to try and make that happen. For updates you can contact www.bigshipwrecks.com .
