Okay, so this film Frankensteins Bloody Nightmare was finished and is set for release in early 2007 on NTSC DVD. The Greys' score will be represented on the soundtrack in glorious 5.1 dolby digital so I hope you really enjoy the experience.
So right now I'm working on some music for this new screenplay I've just written. You can listen to a demo or two on this page but of course it's still a rather rough animal given that the film hasn't even been shot yet. This new soundtrack will have a far more organic and orchestral element to it with most likely a predominance of Mellotron sounds. Tape loops as "organic?" I don't know. Maybe life is one big tape loop and we haven't gotten to the end yet. Or maybe we have.
"The Greys" are a concept born out of necessity more than anything. Once upon a time in a land far away from conventional logic, John R. Hand needed some music for a movie he was making so he had to make it himself. Back when he was 15 or 16 he used the name "Codename Poobah" but that was way too stupid-sounding to put in the credits for Frankensteins Bloody Nightmare so this new name was invented. John doesn't like to think that this band is really just himself on a bunch of keyboards and software programs but on the other hand he's got so much to do that can't really think of any fake band members or anything so he's a kind of in a "grey" area, no pun intended.

dear greys
thanks for adding me.......i love yoiu first album and I am really waiting waiting waiting for the release of this comedy experimental feature that you were hired to do the music for....here, in lower Slobovia we dont get much experimentation wiut de film works.....mostly just fodder but our entire nation only watches movies in pieces by state rule so there you go.....are you all american......i hear a euro"pep"ian sound within the lustrous textures of your tone and mind bending wonderous movie music. Cant wait to hear it all when the movie opens in Lukovic...our capital where the pigs roam the streets as free as birds....its true beauty.....do you take pain medication in the band? In sounds like you were very "high minded" , or perhaps in pain , when you wrote the small portions I have heard on your sublime myspace musical reference page. thank you so much for allowing me to speak with my two typing fingers...and peeling away the layers to get to the rich heart of intellectualism thru musical comedy features in the experi-MENTAL format....
may you always be very rich for this
Ernestine Trogolovichian Borgnine.....yes ......Tova's daughter.......too sexy for my scooter
