Codex is named after Leonardo Da Vinci's 15th century manuscript of future inventions. As their source of inspiration, the band fuses live music with sequenced samples and breakbeats.
This futuristic hybrid of trip-hop, techno, soul and drumnbass has made Codex one of the most provocative acts coming from the Toronto, Canada music scene.
