"Loiter the whole day through and lose yourself in lines dissecting love..."
I am an aspiring writer, even though I don't know what I want to write about. I guess you could consider me an open book, but with no ideas jotted down. I mean, I have ideas...in my head. I tend to make excuses for why I haven't made any action with those ideas, but in reality I'm just lazy. I'm currently writing a novel. If you read my blogs regularly, you would be well aware of the former and that I am infatuated with writing lengthy, descriptive and not-so-get-to-the-pointish pieces about absolutely nothing at all. I don't really enjoy long walks on the beach because it is much easier to walk on the sidewalk. I spend a lot of time at home playing video games, watching movies and writing. I only enjoy writing when it isn't assigned, just as I enjoy talking on a walkie talkie when I'm not working. Many people consider me too sensitive...and that really hurts my feelings. I try to take criticism, but I always feel hurt. As a professor of mine put it, "Those who can not take criticism are shitty artists." I try harder each day knowing that my work isn't the crappiest piece of writing in the world, but what can I say? I'm modest.
Who I'd like to meet:
I admire many writers/artists for their contributions to society. I would like to meet Bret Easton Ellis, Kevin Smith, Chuck Palahniuk, David Sedaris, Martin Scorsese, Michael Cera, Steve Martin, Eminem and Andrew McCarthy just to name a few.
