I would have to think on it for a while. I will get back to you all on that one.
Sounds Like
someone wearin' out a few cardboard boxes with a pair of size 13 steel toed boots, old wood, a sprinkle of rockabilly slappin', hard drivin' bluegrass, fiddle music, & whatever else grabs me.
I picked up the upright in 1999 when my roomate Charlie Rose traded in a set of congas for an old high school bass, needless to say "good trade." From there I started playing bluegrass with my friends, and eventually expanded the ol repertoire bit by bit--latin, jazz, some alt country, etc... I am currently in the employ of the April Verch band and I am enjoying it very much (they are great people!). I have played in such bands as, Two Dollar Shoe Revival Story, El Tio Che y la Contrabanda, OK Jones, The MidContinent Gravity High, Steam Powered Airplane, and now the April Verch Band. I moved to Bozeman, MT about two years ago from Lawrence, KS. I think it was a good move--mountains make me happy.
I got my layout at Cleanupmyspace.com
Man, I'm on the road w/ an Eminence bass. It's cool, but I need some low end support. You still rockin' the Eminence? I just need to know that I'm not alone.
What up codman! XD Glad to have gotten your comment. It's been a while! I have been spending most of my time on classical guitar, also doing photog, recording and repairs on the side. And yes, I'm now learning how to build classicals as well. Let's rap, bro!
Cheers champ, an honour having you here, be well, and do enjoy the library/blog's contents, here's hoping that it'll inspire you, as your creative spirit has inspired mine, sweet dreams then...
