About me:
Hello,
My name is Coen and I'm a musician from Oss, the Netherlands. I started playing the piano at the age of 8 at the local music school. After highschool I studied classical piano for two years at the "Brabants Conservatorium" in Tilburg (the Netherlands). Then I decided that classical music wasn't my thing and began my studies at the "Rotterdam Pop Academy" of the conservatory of Rotterdam. I graduated in 2007.
My main occupation is Epica, a female-fronted metalband from the Netherlands in which I play the keyboards.
Besides that I'm working on another band called SIC which is more groove-oriented.
Besides playing music I'm also teaching Harmonics/Theory at NPAC (Nederlandse Pop Academy) in Utrecht.

What's up...should we prepare ourselves for the forthcoming battle in Halo3? I haven't still bought the quite expensive Playstation..so you have the advantage...
Ah ok... zo'n vermoeden had ik al ergens maar k dacht: je weet maar nooit ^^ misschien kan ik er nog wat leuks van leren, van dat toetsenistenvolk kun je alles verwachten ;) Maarja wel handig om et zo te fixen want ik heb wel es gehoord van bands waar de verkeerde backing track werd gestart >_<
Zelf moet ik 29/6 op semesterconcert een stuk met live elektronica doen als eindopdracht van workshop... Piano & zang door ableton live en dan delay & distortion aan/uitschakelen met footswitches. Ik heb het maar eenvoudig gehouden want ik vertrouw mezelf er nog niet mee... Ruben doet iets met elektrisch viool en wiicontroller en footswitches oO
thankies voor accepteren ^^ maarmaarmaar waar was dat macbook nou voor? vast niet om on stage je mail te checken XD en als CMS student (compositie, muziek- & studioproducties) ben ik er ongelofelijk nieuwsgierig naar =P
ja, da weet ik schat. Had ik zo gedaan omdat ik geen Ariën-met-paddestoel op m'n pagina wou. Maar goed dat je me eraan herinnert, zal ik dan es aanpassen...

Waw! *-* I don't know if the video about the choir recording is going to be on the album or if it just a vocal warm-up... I was just thinking about a song with a "oooooeaaaAAAAAHHH" in my head... HAHA.
