COINSLOT exploded onto the music scene out of Indiana in 2003. The five piece, DIY, female fronted act quickly gained the attention of local papers, venues, and kids all around the area for their high- energy, dance until you die, wring out your shirt after the show set. COINSLOT believes in having a good time no matter what and plays upbeat music that one can skank, mosh, and freak out to. Drawing from a wide range of influences including many genres; such as punk, rock, ska and pop, COINSLOT creates their own uniquely blended sound. Over the years they have self released four EP’s most notably 2005’s “Smile, Music is Dead" and received several reviews in newspapers and online publications. Tracks from this EP have been selected for compilations through Lullaby Records, Rug Rubber Records, and Onekindradio.com. In 2006 COINSLOT toured the Midwest and East Coast and was selected to play the Van's Warped Tour Shira Girl Stage in Indianapolis. In 2007 they released their first album "Sugar & Caffeine" through Pattern Hungry records and look forward to taking their “24 hour Wooo Party” back out on the road to a town near you.
