About Cold Cold Ground (recording the debut album)

In year 2001 Hauptmann D started to execute an idea he had harbored for a long time: an industrial metal band. Hauptmann D played his early self-produced demos for his friend Nooz. He was enthusiastic about them and joined the band to play bass guitar. Hauptmann D and Nooz tried a few different guitar players, until they found the best possible guitarist for the band, Mr. Bunny, through a mutual friend. In that time the nameless band played with a drum machine, but then they decided to ditch it and get a real drummer. Henrica was the first one to play drums, but after a year Henrica was replaced with a new drummer, Monsieur Beau.

Cold Cold Ground's purpose is to make gritty, noisy and disturbing rock music with an industrial flavor.

Live performances of CCG are powerful and intensive music, disturbing visuals, atmosphere bordering on madness (and occasionally crossing over). The characters in the band will leave no one cold.

At the moment CCG is working on their debut album and the band is looking for cooperation partners from record labels, promoters or just anyone who thinks he/she has something to offer to help Cold Cold Ground getting the project through until the COLDEST album ever!

Victoria	Jul 10 2009 7:35 AM It's looking like maybe not until March or April. We spent way too much in Finland back in May, kind of missed our train schedule we needed back to Helsinki on purpose so missed our ferry so had to shell out for airfare to Stockholm but we knew what we were doing so it's all good. Whenever TF # is announced Katie and I will get our flight tickets and such. Unless you have a show elsewhere we plan to stay in Helsinki, around Kampi district. And no doing the ferry from Stockholm because it is cheaper! Whoever heard of a major city port NOT having anything to do around the harbour??? haha!!
