About me:
Cold Dead Hands are a Collective. We put on gigs.
We are not "promoters". We are not some snot-nosed, jumped up little arseholes looking to make a career for ourselves in the music business. The music business is full of wankers, why would we want to be involved with something like that? As such, please do not send us the nonsense you would send to such people, like fawning press releases and PR bullshit. It will make us hate you.
We formed in 2003, with members involved in the Edinburgh hardcore/punk scene for over ten years. We organize local DIY gigs, teaming touring bands from the UK and abroad with local based bands. All the money on the door goes back to the bands.
When we say "hardcore" we should be specific. To us, that is much more about independent spirit than, well horrible, horrible self deluding corporate rock toss like, say, oh Gallows for example. We have had everything from grindcore/metal/doom/noise through to acoustic singer songwriters. Like minded people always understand what me mean. If you don't, we're probably not for you.
Yes this is a bit militant. Someone fucking has to be.
