About me:

After a stompingly good opening night, with fine performances from all the bands, and many thanks to The Mekons for launching CDS with a blinding headline set (it's not til you see a classic late-70's punk song performed acoustically that you realise just how much you can rock without plugging anything in...), it's onwards and upwards with less than 3 weeks to go before our "Alt. Bluegrass" mini-festy...

And it should be a corker!

In addition to the phenomenal Dixie Bee-Liners coming all the way from Virginia, we have the UK's top alt. bluegrass act, The Coal Porters, fronted by ex-Long Ryder, Sid Griffin, and, in a late addition to the lineup - from Woking, Ghost Town Showdown have decided to join in the fun.

Amy Harrison and The Secondhand Stringband are coming up from Brighton, and CDS "residents", Dolly and the Clothespegs, will be making a welcome return.

What a night this is going to be!
