The JJR and The SB’s appear together again for the first time since last summer’s rave up at the Komedia in Brighton…

Without a doubt one of best rock n roll bands on the scene today; The Jim Jones Revue make their Esquires debut as part of their current U.K tour hot on the heels of their first U.S dates at the prestigious SXSW festival in Austin Texas.
Formed in London in 2007 the JJR are all about bringing it back home; referencing Jerry Lee’s 50’s blueprint and hi-jacking the crash-clatter chaos of The Cramps, MC5 and The Birthday Party to bring you untold heaviocity.
Their self titled album, recorded live onto a four track Tascam, is a crash-course in anti-production and probably the best British debut since The Who’s My Generation. Searing vocals, torrid guitar runs and cut-throat piano have been jammed into a meat grinder and have come out the other end sounding like Little Richard’s voice. Thirty seconds into hearing it you’ll be all wised up and killing for tickets.

Mexican traffic accidents, terrorist girlfriends and Milton Keynes massage parlours appear to be uppermost in the minds of The Silver Brazilians if their particular brand of ‘stripped to the chassis hoodlum rhythm & blues' is anything to go by. Taking traditional twelve-bar mayhem and giving it a contemporary twist these ‘down home’ garage punks made their live debut with The Charlatans in July 2007.
The following year saw the release of their first E.P ‘Iraqdonalds’ and headlining the Strummerville Foundation for New Music event in Hollywood, California.

Some important news!

Electroflex have been back in the studio following a break from gigging and recording with new track ‘Computer Virus’.

This is the first of a series of new releases for 2009, and what better day to start on than Liz’s Birthday!

‘Computer Virus’ is a live favourite. Anyone forced to work with computers will know how evil they are and this track is Electroflex’s response to Kraftwerk’s ‘Its More Fun to Compute’. It is a bouncy number with a serious bassline, sing-along chorus and a selection of curious samples.
