7pm- Qualifiers open- sprint as fast as you can for 20 seconds. You get a two second flying start.
845pm- Qualifiers closed- please register by this time!
9pm- The top 16 men and top 8 women battle head-to-head in a single elimination tournament of 500m sprints.
Cost- 5$ to race. You keep the glory and whatever swag we toss you.
Coldsprints! is homegrown Goldsprints for the twisted appetites of Minneapolis' chilled bicycle enthusiasts.
This is fork mounted roller racing. The rollers are
made by Kreitler and provided by Behind Bars Bicycle Shop; the bikes are stock Bianchi Pistas and Swobos provided by One On One Bicycle Studio, geared approximately 48x16, equipped with platform pedals and toe cages.
You can choose from three different bike sizes- small, medium, or large. We will also be able to move the seat for you. If you have more questions show up and have a few beers, eat great food, and hang out with new friends while watching and cheering the grand spectacle.
Then register already and become part of the sprints that are already the buzz of this frosty city.
