Cole Alanson has been an East Bay fixture on the keyboards for over a
decade. Cole has been busy the past 20 years playing rock and roll keyboards
for Mostly Water, The Howlers, 7th Direction, Shanty Town, Saul Kaye Band, Willy G and the G-Spots and Serafin among others. Mr. Alanson is also an established teacher of both piano and drums and has taught children of all ages at The New Mozart School in Palo Alto and The Alameda Boys and Girls Club. He is also a registered music teacher for Musica and teaches adults out of his home studio. Cole has recently started his own band, The Cole Alanson Project.

Cole Alanson Project (C.A.P.) is a power trio lead by Cole’s keyboards and vocals. The beauty of this band is the pure musical freedom of the trio format, monster drummer Shawn Swayze gets to really play out while bassist Jeff Houston lays down funky pocket grooves.
The band features some Cole Alanson original songs and covers a wide variety of rock and roll.
