1990-Colemesis started as a garage band and a grindcore noise project. The founders were Fabbian Bonilla and Randall Salas. That same year they release their first demo, “Vivisection”, being the first release of its genre to hit the local market.

1993-They released their second demo, “Postbiosis”, recorded at Paradox Studios and independently produced.

1994-Colemesis signs their recording contract with “C Producciones S.A.” and prepare their first LP for more than a year.

1995-Their first LP “Still Oppression Rules” is released. That same year Colemesis is mentioned in the MTV show Headbangers Ball and gets the 2nd place in the Annual Top Ten of local radio show, Rock Power. That top ten included well-known international bands only.

1996-The live album entitled “Live Oppression” hits the market. This album is considered a classic in the local metal scene. That same year they took part in the First Underground Festival in the country and they get the 1st place, thanks to a voting process of the attending crowd. Later on they ended a series of 6 concerts featuring around 35 bands and an average assistance of 700 people per gig. That same year Colemesis organized the First Central-American Metal Festival in Costa Rica and hit the 1st place in the Annual Top Ten of Rock Power Radio Show, from the local station 103 FM.

1997-They set to play around Central America and later on they moved to Denver, Colorado in the United States.

1998-This year they released their last Metal material, "Costa Rican Hard Core", which includes the song “El Serrucho”. That same song is the title of Colemesis last concert in Costa Rica. During their stay in the United States they play gigs on several states and in famous venues such as The Whisky Hollywood C.A., Six Flags Elicht Gardens, Hard Rock Café Pavillions Denver, Festival El Grito (75 thousand people average attendance) and Taste of Colorado and The Peoples Fair in the Main Stage (200 thousand people average attendance). They also play along well-known bands such as Dope and Static X.

Finally the band split up in the year 2000.

1990-Colémesis comienza como una banda de garaje y un proyecto de Grindcore Noise. Sus fundadores son Fabbian Bonilla y Randall Salas. Ese mismo año sale su primer demo "Vivisección", siendo el mismo el primero en su genero en el mercado local.

1993-Sacan su segundo demo "PostBiosis", grabado en Paradox Studios y producido de manera independiente.

1994-Firman un contrato de producción con C Producciones S.A. y preparan su primer LP por mas de un año.

1995-Sale su primer LP "Still Oppression Rules". Este año Colemesis es mencionado en MTV programa HeadBangers Ball y obtiene el 2do lugar del top ten anual del programa local Rock Power con participación únicamente de bandas internacionales firmadas.

1996-Graban el disco en vivo titulado "Live Oppression", album considerado un clásico en la escena metal local. Este año participan en el Primer Festival de Underground del país donde obtienen el 1er lugar en la votación general del publico para cerrar una serie de 6 conciertos con la participación de aproximadamente 35 bandas y una asistencia promedio de 700 personas por concierto . Este mismo año Colémesis organiza el Primer Festival de Metal Centroamericano realizado en Costa Rica y logra ahora el primer lugar en el Top Ten anual del programa Rock Power Radio 103.

1997-Van a tocar por Centroamérica e inmediatamente después se mudan a vivir a Denver Colorado Estados Unidos.

1998-Sacan su ultimo material Metal llamado "Costarican Hard Core" el cual incluye el tema El Serrucho, el mismo da el nombre al ultimo concierto de Colémesis en el pais. En su estadia en U.S.A realizan conciertos en varios estados y en lugares de renombre como The Whisky Hollywood C.A., Six Flags Elicth Gardens, Hard Rock Cafe Pavillions Denver, Festival El Grito(75mil personas), Taste of Colorado y The Peoples Fair en el ecenario principal(200mil personas) y tocan con grupos de renombre como Dope y Static X.

Finalmente el grupo se desintegra en el año 2000.
