My name is Colette Aubrey and I am a singer/songwriter/yoga teacher in Newport Beach, California.
I have been singing my entire life, but I did not take it seriously until recently. I am currently working on my first album. It has taken me a lot longer than I had originally anticipated, but I have learned what not to do and what I need to do. I love music, I love singing, the feeling of letting go, like the wind driving with the top down. Many people ask me what my musical style is like and I never have an answer. I have my own tone and my own sound so I think I sound like me. My biggest influences are Sade, Natalie Merchant, Billie Holiday, Annie Lennox, Carly Simon, Donna Summer and well so many more it's hard to list them all. I love Jazz, Folk, Pop, R&B, Rap, Chanting, Kirtan almost every style of music and I love singing all styles too. As I am working towards the end of my first album, I am so happy to start on a Yoga Album. I am looking forward to working with some fabulous musicians & singers.
I have many passions in life. When I am not working on music, I enjoy teaching & practicing yoga and I am very busy with my Public Affairs Radio Show called Yogi World w/Coco B & Jay.
