About me:

Created in a studio in Chicago, each one comes in its own hat-box like container, is hand poured and hand packaged with care. Colette luxury candles have a full-bodied fragrance throw with an extraordinary burn time of 60 hours. Free of artificial colorings and synthetic additives using only the finest fragrance oils available. The clean burning soy wax, glass, cotton wick, and re-usable box are all made in the United States.




My mother was known for her tasteful interior design style. Our home was always stylishly decorated with a mix of traditional and eclectic pieces and candles were always burning. In the 60's when other moms were at the country club playing bridge, my mom was taking my sisters and I to the nearby, artsy Harper Court shopping area in Chicago's historic Hyde Park neighborhood. Even though she had traditional taste, her favorite spot was the hippie-chic candle shop, there she could find the latest candles and accessories to decorate our home with panache. Now, as I carefully package my candles by hand in my shop, I imagine carrying on my mom's legacy of good taste.
