video: recording bass on new song from Jenny Weisgerber: "Gonna Be Bad"
Many thanks Colin. I know your work mostly from the work you have been doing with Camel over the years. Saw you at the Waterfrount Norwich a few years ago, awesome gig.
(Seuri....oh Seuri....the beautiful one picking some flowers....) One of the most beautiful songs ever... You've made my day today Colin. :-)))) M xxxxxx
So long! But you believe me ... I never forget you. Your music is tattooed on my soul. Fill my spirit of peace and warm feelings. Contemplate life through your sound. Colin, you are of those remarkable men, large, lighted, and of great humility. ... and not just words ... I love every note of you. Thank you, allways!!
I know I should have remembered you from Camel and of course I have heard Camel, but that is not where I remembered you from. I am a big fan of Józef Skrzek and SBB - I guess this is the music that runs in my blood somehow! - the music of my childhood - and every time I went to Poland to see my family, I hunted for their CDs. One of the ones I bought first was "Planetarium", the recording of your gig with Józef Skrzek. Some time after that, I googled around and found you on the Internet, and on your page I found Jenny Weisgerber. I went to her site and fell in love with her songs already while listening to the first one. So I bought the CD and it is still one of my favourite ones that I always take with me when I travel (so is "Planetarium").
So, I am really happy that you do accept add requests from artists and that I could add you here. I know it can seem mechanical and meaningless, adding friends on MySpace, and sure a lot of the time starting artists do it hoping to find fans, almost randomly, hoping that people who seem to have similar taste will like what they do. But sometimes it is special, and it is now.
Thank you for adding me and thank you for - unknowingly - introducing me to Jenny's music!
Hi Colin, thank you very much for add, for your friendship and music .... wish him well .. and I admire as a bass player and member of the great band CAMEL ... a big hug from La Plata / Argentina. ÜL P.
hey, Colin, guten Morgen, lade mich mal zu einem deiner Gigs "um die Ecke" ein..., nee, nicht "um die Ecke bringen". Das ist was ganz anderes. Liebe Grüße, bis bald?
