Crispy Grapes 9-song EP due out by the end of summer '10. 7 studio, 2 live.
15 tracks have made the cut for a debut Solo Album, but 9 of 'em have yet to be recorded. Not sure when it'll be released, but I hope to have a solid batch of new tunes available here by October '10
8 mostly-unheard songs in the pipeline for trio w/ drumkit & bass. Dan Maddelone's down for bass, but the throne remains unclaimed.
so I'm on myspace for like the first time in like a year because I needed to comment on the myspace of a guy who does covers of disney songs and it's giving me updates about this colin lissandrello guy for some reason
so now I have to listen to your newer music and see if you do that "myyaaaynyaaahyyah" thing whenever you sing
also you should let me know what's up with you and where you're at through non-myspace means
Hey Colin, I saw a picture of you playing at last year's VORSHTEIN show. I'm always interested in finding other musicians hiding out here in Sidney so I googled your name. Voila there you were. Alan Robinson has invited me to play VORSHTEIN this year and I'm pretty sure I will. How about you?
If you're free this Friday night drop by Z Spice of Life at 87 Main St in Sidney. I'm going to be playing a couple of sets of my original material from 7-9pm. Come say hello.
hey sorry for the late late response, i check this shit super rarely. yes i would love to book a show up there, with my new old time string band, i suppose. and keep me posted on the song you wanted some fiddle on.. .
aw shucks.. thanks! yeah passenger usually takes people a little while to appreciate, and many never do, but i think it may be the best thing i ever wrote. I know i've told you before, but pickin & pluckin is really very stong. The melodies and harmonic progressions are very original and keep me interested. great performance as well.
Yo Colin, Good to hear from you. I get up to ithaca from time to time. Do you know Nate and Kate? They're a folk act up there. Ill hit you up next time I'm there.
Thanks again for playing at VORSHTEIN, Colin! Excellent performance and top-notch songwriting (dynamic and engaging with edge and very respectable hooks). The chord structures and transitions were very interesting as well. Good show, man!
