   About Colin Poulton
My name is Colin and I play guitar. I also have experience with vocals, percussion (drum set, auxiliary percussion, mallet percussion, and timpani), and bass guitar. I was born in Connecticut, lived in South Carolina for a time, and I currently reside in Nashville, TN where I am a freshman student at Belmont University, majoring in Commercial Guitar with an emphasis in Performance. I have played guitar since the age of 13 and I have had the pleasure to have studied jazz guitar with Atlanta Institute of Music graduate Dave Taylor and am currently studying commercial guitar with John Pell and classical guitar with Robert Thompson, both of whom are Belmont University faculty. I have experience playing praise and worship music, rock, jazz, and am beginning to explore classical guitar music. Upon graduation, I hope to be a professional musician. I enjoy playing all types of music live, but I also have studio experience. If you want me to play guitar for a gig or on a studio project, please send me an email at colin.poulton@gmail.com or send me a MySpace message. You can also find me on Facebook. Currently, I'm playing in a Hardcore band out of Charlotte, North Carolina called Rucus and an acoustic band in Nashville called the Wild Coyotes.
