My name is Colin and I am a musician. My main avenue of musical expression is the guitar, but I also play percussion (drum set, auxiliary percussion, marching percussion, mallet percussion, and timpani) and bass. I was born in Connecticut, lived in South Carolina for a time, and I currently reside in Nashville, TN where I am a sophmore student at Belmont University, majoring in Commercial Guitar with an emphasis in Performance. I have played guitar since the age of 13 and I have had the pleasure to have studied jazz guitar with Atlanta Institute of Music graduate Dave Taylor and am currently studying commercial guitar with John Pell and classical guitar with Robert Thompson, both of whom are Belmont University faculty. At the moment, I am playing electric guitar in Taylor Preston and the Barefoot Bandits, as well as a few other projects that are still in the works.
