About me:
Before I gush on and on about how cool I am, lets take a quick look at the history of Colin's Coffee. Originally known as Brewster's Coffee, it was started around 1996 by my pals Dareen Webb and Rick Trott. This was just after the Earth was cooling and BEFORE there were ANY Starbucks in Ohio, if you kids can believe that. I stood behind the counter on the very first day and tried to explain to our only customer what a latte was.
Over the years I would faithfully report to work at 5:30 am (whenever I wasn't touring or recording)to talk sports/politics/whatever with our ever growing number of regulars. Alas, times change, and the store was bought a sold a couple of times before closing it's doors in August 2006. It had seemed that the evil forces of corporate coffee had crushed yet another locally owned independant shop.
Not so fast my friends! As luck would have it, Watershed had just finished a major tour for the 5th of July and Erin and mine's 3 years old son Owen was getting ready to start preschool. (Did I mention that I met my dazzling wife Erin McHam while she was working at Brewster's?)
Either I would be unemployed with mornings free, or I could try to buy the shop and save my cushy job.
Thankfully, current owner and friend Nathan Deering let me work out a deal that wouldn't involve me robbing a liquor store and Colin's Coffee reopened on October 4th 2006.

Who I'd like to meet:
I would like to meet you when you stop by the shop. The drive through is only good for two things: burning gas and gaining weight. Step inside and get informed. I cannot tell you how many regulars have found jobs, baby sitters,roofers, handymen, stock tips,sports gossip, ect.ect. from spending time at the shop. I even met my wife here!
