I'm so excited for Leni. Many adventues await. Well, can't break the trend:
"Skill without imagination is craftsmanship and gives us many useful objects such as wickerwork picnic baskets. Imagination without skill gives us modern art."
I wanted to contribute a quote, too, but all I know are the dying words of Dutch Schultz: "Now listen, Phil, fun is fun. Aha...please! Papa! What happened to the sixteen?...Oh, oh, dog biscuit, and when he is happy he doesn't get snappy....There are only ten of us and there are ten million fighting somewhere in front of you, so get your onions up and we will throw up a truce flag. He eats like a little sausage baloney maker....Oh, sir, and get the doll a roofing. Please. You can play jacks, and girls do that with a soft ball and do tricks with it. Please---I may take all events into consideration....The sidewalks were in trouble and the bears were in trouble and I broke it up. My gilt-edges stuff and those dirty rats have tuned in. Please, Mother, you pick me up now. A boy has never wept, nor dashed a thousand kiln. Please crackdown on the Chinaman's friends and Hitler's commander. Mother is the best bet and don't let Satan draw you too fast. I am half-crazy. They won't let me get up. They dyed my shoes. Give me something. I am so sick. Give me some water, the only thing I want."
OK. Maybe not the most apropos quote, but I dig it. Congratulations.
Here's a good quote that I thought could be good to start off your comment board:
"In an age of terrific implications as to wealth and poverty, as to the function of government, as to peace and war, as to the relation of the artist to all these forces, the theatre must grow up. The theatre must become conscious of the implications of the changing social order, or the changing social order will ignore, and rightly, the implications of the theatre." - Hallie Flanagan
