Collateral Damage is a quite new band from the depths of Zeeuwsch Vlaanderen. Their style can be best described as technical death metal with a progressive touch and a slight thrashy vibe. The band operates somewhere between Death and fellow countrymen Callenish Circle. Although the sound is fresh and tasty, it’s clear these guys have a great liking for the old school feeling and consider this of paramount importance. The 3 songs are compact and catchy. They have the gift to mix power with heaviness, but all with a melodic groovy touch. The guitars are carrying and contain hypnotic forces which bring you in the real banging metal mood. The drums have a swinging mood and the bass is responsible for the great abdominal feeling. The vocals go from decent deep grunts to more harsh more screamy ones. The playing is mostly in mid-tempo with some nice tempo changes and breaks. Their slower passages are really crushing. In conclusion we can say Collateral Damage did a fantastic job on their debut recordings and is definitely a name to keep in mind.
Metal band from Terneuzen, the Netherlands. Started in 2005 when Chris (ex-Exosphere) and Sandra - who where jamming for some time - now hooked up with Eddy (ex-Mindlink) and Eric. About a year later Koen completed the band with his versatile grunt. Our main influences are: Morbid Angel, Slayer and Fear Factory, but most of all Death. Also audible are Arch Enemy, At the Gates and even a glimpse of the Pantera groove. Playing our music varying from heavy mid-tempo metal to complex death metal the members sure as hell don’t care for any modern trends or temporary crap! Progressive, yet old school metal!
In may 2008 Collateral Damage parted ways with guitarplayer Eric. Soon afterwards he was replaced by Steven, known from fellow deathmetallers Polluted Inheritance and Burial.

Right after the Beaujolais, here comes the STOG nouveau. A first new song entitled Dogma is online. A second one will follow soon. The style inevitably evolved due to the staff changes. We wanted to create a more personal and
open-minded music, but the spirit remains the same. Only one rule: no rule !
Our aim is to keep on composing and to show our energy live. But for this second point, we still need a drummer. A second guitar player is also wanted, although not absolutely required to start performing.
