Collected Sounds is not really a band. I do sing, but not when anyone is listening. Unless I'm drunk.
The site born in February of 2000 when I decided that there needed to be a website that was focused on women in music. Then it grew to being mostly Independent musicians and the latest change is that I've added a few men as well.
I am the founder, publisher, web designer, reviewer, coffee maker and general overseer (oooh that sounds ominous).
I do have help from some great people who contribute CD and concert reviews and interviews too.
NOTE: While I like to have friends as much as the next guy, don't bother "friending" me if you are trying to sell me shit or tell me all about how I can work from home. If that were really truly possible, we'd all be doing that. I will deny your request. I only add people who are musicians, or fans of music and not using MySpace to spam people. Cus that's just wrong.
Also, please don't comment if all you're doing is promoting your music. If you make a comment about me or the site, it will get posted. A comment about you, will not.
