Blurbs

About me:

CoG's mission is to be a Collector, a Collection and a Collective of Geniuses. We are dedicated to the empowerment of the oppressed and disenfranchised, especially those who identify as trans, queer and/or womyn. Our medium is experiential and consumable art that is produced through environmentally and socially sustainable means.


Programs:
1. We create events and performing arts pieces to create an auditoral history as well as places for emerging artists to perform.*
2. We have an ecommerce site to support emerging artist and our educational program. **
3. We are a fiscally sponsored non-profit. We hope to have our own 501c3 status soon.
4. We have a year lined up of artists for a monthly First Friday Arts Walk Gallery Show.
5. We have internships! 6. Coming soon! Classes and workshops! Values: Our values are your values. These values extend to every level of our business not just the components that you see or take home with you. This is why we are forming a non-profit because it also says we value people over profit.

1. We are “Socially Sustainable” meaning: we choose to support other Womyn, Queers, oppressed, disenfranchised artisans and small businesses.
2. Next we hold the highest standards for Environmental Sustainability of the projects. Our facilities use Low-toxic Methods and Green Energy. Our shirts are Organic and Made Union in the USA.

Who I'd like to meet:

We are always interested in meeting people who want to help fulfill our mission statement. Womyn, Queers, Artisans, people interested in green technology, est.
Starting June we will start accepting submissions for next years gallery shows. And we are always looking for performers for show and events. Crafter keep your eye out for December as we we will have a craft show.

    Yeah, I used to be a musician of sorts. A few years ago a lady in my parents' neighborhood lost a teenage son tragically, and I performed a song written for him at his funeral. She never got a viable copy, so I recorded it last week so she could have it on CD.
    Depressing, no?
