After taking some personal time to deal with the loss of my Mother last December and moving into a new home in July, I am getting back in to the groove of things and have been feeling some visits from my Muse, finally. A new version of "Shades of Gray" will be finishing pre-production in the next few weeks. I look forward to sharing this with you. :)
Inspiration is such a strange and wonderful thing. :) The non-music aspect of creativity has been keeping me quite busy, so be on the lookout for a newly redesigned dot com for both myself and for Fates Warning as soon as humanly possible (we need more than 24 hours in a day, lol).
Pantommind's "Lunasense" will be released through Sprectral Records on March 23rd! I am incredibly proud of the results of this collaboration and am beyond excited to finally be able to announce the release. :) I appear as guest lead/backing vocalist on "Days of Old" (which can be heard by clicking on the album cover above) and also have some spoken parts throughout the album. Powerful, melodic, for Fates Warning fans. Enjoy! And please let us know your thoughts!
"Pyre of Dreams", 4th album by Perspehone's Dream, has sold out its first printing! Lending his incredible talents to the project is none other than Vocal legend DC Cooper (Royal Hunt, Silent Force and too many other credits to list here). His amazing voice can be heard as the lead on two tracks, and backing vocals on many others. In addition to lending his vocal talent, DC was a pleasure to work with as co-producer/vocal producer and vocal coach during the sessions.
Marcel Coenen's 2nd solo cd, "Colour Journey" is available! Featuring yours truly on two tracks (the in-your-face thrasher "Traumatized To The Bone" and the softer/bittersweet "That Moment"). Also available is "A Live Time Journey", the DVD of Marcel's CD Release party. Featuring almost all of the musicians featured on "Colour Journey" and filmed in The Netherlands in January, 2006, the sound on this DVD is absolutely incredible and you have to see Marcel and all of the incredible talent involved in this project doing their thing live to believe it. The musicianship involved in this show was just astounding!! :)
