Colleen Paige is considered one of America's leading pet lifestyle experts. As an Animal Behaviorist, the Editor in Chief of "Pet Home Magazine" and the author of "The Good Behavior Book for Dogs" she offers advice to clients and readers alike, ranging from dog and cat training and interior design to pet nutrition and fashion.

Her pet expertise has been shared with TV viewers in shows like Evening Magazine, ABC News in Los Angeles and in scores of popular national publications, such as The Los Angeles Times, The Associated Press, The New York Times, Total Health Magazine, People, The Denver Post and OK! Celebrity Magazine. Colleen has created the new series "Canine Design". Watch for it on a network near you very soon!

As a celebrity pet expert for OK! Celebrity magazine, Colleen dishes about your favorite celebrities and their furry friends. Please enjoy the slideshow below of her favorite pooch-loving personalities.

She is also a photographer and an artist who's whimsical pieces have raised funds for her lifesaving projects, as well as for other animal welfare projects nationwide. Besides her lifesaving events and her magazine, she also spends time helping people to live more harmoniously with their pets, offering Pet Savvy Interior & Garden Design in Southern California.





Submerging herself for years in the sad and hopeless world of animal hospitals and shelters, she tried to make a difference but was left feeling empty and frustrated every day. Working as a Paramedic for six years in Los Angeles, she did make a big difference with people - but, encountering hundreds of pets, injured or killed in car accidents and other sad incidents, continued to leave her with an unhealed wound in her heart.

Determined to find a way to save animals in a happier light and on a larger scale, she created National Dog Day. After the overwhelming response to this day that celebrates dogs for all they do, with literally a "great big puppy party" and helps to find homes for thousands of them across the nation, she felt confident to then create the same lifesaving celebrations for other animals in need, such as cats, horses and wildlife.

Colleen founded the Animal Miracle Network, which is a virtual web of love, encompassing her lifesaving holidays and connecting with animal lovers, shelters, rescues and businesses who care about helping orphaned animals find new homes. She is currently involved in production of a pet related show based on her magazine, for a major cable network.

    We are getting married on May 9th at a beautiful historic plantation called "Rippavilla" right out of Franklin in Spring Hill.     Yeah, life is good! I am going to be finished with high school by the end of next week! I think I am going to do a one-year internship at the Honor Academy, a christian facility located in Texas. It's a place to go to grow with God and strengthen your relationship with him. :)

    Collie, I miss you, even though I've never met you. If it wasn't for being so deeply in love with the awesome woman in my life, I would be yours profusely, cleaning the house, massaging you, etc. But alas, you're married, and I'm in the best relationship of my life, and those two things are golden, and irreparable, good things, like God, karma, and the ability to provide to others.
