The summer fling has long been a rite of passage for many a college student and in this week’s issue of College Times, writer Jessie Whitfield explores the summer hook-up in all it’s glory. From the masters of the art, to those who find it repulsive, it’s all in this week’s feature story, entitled “Sex in the Summer.”
Indeed, sexy sex is the big theme in this week’s College Times, and why shouldn’t it be, with the launched of the highly anticipated “Sex in the City” movie. Sure, we’ve got an interview with the cast and a review of the film, but perhaps more importantly, we’ve decided to take sex advice from rappers and pass their wisdom on to you. Check out the center spread in this week’s paper “Sex Ed: Rap Lyrics edition” to learn how to apply the tricks and techniques rappers suggest in their lyrics into real “get in the mood” moves. We even consult a sexpert to see just how lucky in revving up the libido these ideas can be.
Elsewhere, we’ve got more on a new study that shows that college students are trading favors for sex … hmmmm; and we’ve got a lot of other stuff in there, too.
Like events, this week there’s Rage in the Cage and mixed-media art shows and Brian Posehn at the Tempe Improv, just too name a few. For a complete list of things to do this week, check out the paper or go to our website: ecollegetimes.com
In style, we offer some simple tips to drop that weight just as bathing suit season kicks in.
In music, we’ve got reviews on the new Ellen Allien disc, the French Kicks, Al Green and Scarlett Johansson discs, as well as an interview with Type O Negative.
In film, we’ve got the aforementioned Sex and the City package, as well as reviews on The Fall and Jellyfish.
The new issue’s on stands across the Valley. Pick one up, or check the complete edition online at www.ecollegetimes.com
