Collinz Room, a Rock band from Los Angeles, CA is heading out on tour across the Western Region of the United States bringing their style of Rock, Alternative, Punk to scenes in different western regional states. The band is heavily influenced by the multiple musical influences Incubus, Thrice, Chevelle, Fallout, etc. The band fuses together the rock edge, alternative and punk which most new bands have lost, with the explosive melodies that one might have expected to hear on mainstream radio. Collinz Room is a band that rock fans and pop oriented fans can agree on because the music is catchy but also aggressive.
Collinz Room has defined their straight forward sound that critics have called "a blend of raw rock with a soulful edge" (James James, Speak EZ Radio), and "a flavored addiction that begs for more" (Shawn Plunket, Flare Magazine). The two time winners of the Los Angeles Music Awards (Sonicbids contest, and best rock song in a major motion picture soundtrack).
Collinz Room has played some amazing venues, festivals, and charities including the Los Angeles Music Awards, Mtv's Campus Courtyard, Tide Fest, Charities for Cancer research, and the Rocker's for life. "Just Another Day", a track off their sophmore album, has already created buzz from its placement in Paramount's horror phenomenon, Saw IV. Collinz Room is releasing their album called "Silence the Insects" in August of 2009 threw Redefined Records/Universal. This record is fresh off the press and will soon be spread across the United States and internationally. The band plans to tour for this album extensively in the summer of 2009 and in the Fall through to 2010, bringing the elements of a great band to their audiences, an explosive live show. Through their signing with Redefined Records and distribution with Universal.
