The mark of a good band is the length of time it takes for them to make a good impression. In the case of Birmingham progressive metallers Collision Process, not very long. Since releasing their self produced debut self titled EP (released late 2011) the band have enjoyed some great success.
Said EP led them to victory in Total Biker FM's "TBFM Factor" competition against over 130 other unsigned rock and metal bands. They have also received airplay and featured on stations through Europe, including Bandit Rock in Sweden, Radio ARA in Luxembourg, Kringvarp in the Faroe Islands, TNT Radio in Spain, Yle in Finland, Radio Citta in Italy, Total Rock and Kerrang Radio in the UK.
On top of this, their EP has received outstanding reviews from numerous publications including Rockstar Magazine in Switzerland, Metalized in Denmark, Rock Hard in Italy and Metal Hammer in Greece. They’ve also received strong support from sites like ThisIsNotAScene, Concreteweb, DPRP, Metal Rules, Ragazzi Music and The Metal Headz.
Since their live debut in June 2010, their popularity has grown steadily. In their first year, the band had already supported Romeo Must Die and The Defiled (Best New Band nominees at Metal Hammer's Golden God awards) during their 2011 tour. They have also appeared at 2011’s Glastonbudget open-air festival in Leicestershire, attended by nearly 10,000 people.
With a new album in the wings and with interest growing rapidly, the future couldn’t be looking brighter for Collision Process.
Adust, Carcer City, The Culprit, Cypher 16, The Defiled, El Schlong (New Zealand), Elysium Shift, Eradikator, Extreme O.D., Frantic Empire, I Hate You More, Korrozão (Brazil), Malacite, New Dawn, Romeo Must Die, Signify, lots more!
